Today we worked on vocabulary 24. We read Midsummer Night's Dream. Students wrote five sentences to finsh up sentences for their final vocabulary. Students also had time to work on xtranormal summaries for Midsummer Night's Dream.

Today we worked on the site xtranormal for an extended time so that students could come close to completing a project on Midsummer Night's Dream and so our tech department could test our wireless connection. We also wrote some sentences using vocabulary words to show students who to vary sentence structure.

Today we read a bit of Misummer Night's Dream out loud and talked about it as we read. The students took vocabulary 23 quiz.

Homework: finish reading book by Friday, June 3 and complete review with parent signature or included review.

Today we started with watching some of Midsummer Night's Dream. We talked about vocabulary 23 and prepared for the quiz. Students did some work with commonly confused words on the internet and/or worked on xtranormal or their end of year reading.

Today we are reading a bit of Midsummer Night's Dream. We are writing/talking about some of the themes/quotes in the play. Students are also starting to do some work with confusing words in English.

Today we took vocabulary 22 quiz. Students are learning how to use the site www.xtranormal.com and make up some fun films that demonstrate their understanding of Midsummer Night's Dream. Finally, we read Act 2.2 in Midsummer Night's Dream.

Today we read two scenes from Midsummer Night's Dream. We talked about v.22 and we also started working on xtranormal projects online.

Today we wrote a persuasive paper much like the ACT asks students to write. Students also reviewed on moodle for their test on Friday.

Today we finished a version of Midsummer Night's Dream and then talked about it for a bit. We took vocabulary 21 quiz. Student did some review and we talked about semicolons.

Today we started with review of commas. There are a lot of comma exercises on Moodle that students should review and come to seminar if more assistance is needed. We also went over vocabulary 21 in preparation for a quiz next class. Students know that a test is coming as well as a writing and quiz this week.

Today we spent some time reading and the kids are really taking to their books well! We talked about colons and we also started vocabulary 21.
